Mother's Day

The origins of Mother's Day go back to the 16th Centaury where workers (some as young as 10) returned home to their Mother Church and Mothers for a rare family get-together. On the route home they gathered wild flowers to leave in the Church and to present to their Mothers.

The modern Mother's Day is much more commercialized but it is still a chance to celebrate all Mother's and a chance for family's to get-together.

Whatever you decide to do this coming Sunday to celebrate, I hope you enjoy it.
